1. Agreement

By using Find People Guide (the "Site"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Site. The Site is operated by Costa Launch LLC ("we," "us").

2. Educational purpose

Content on this Site is for general informational and educational purposes about public records, people search and online privacy in the United States. It is not legal advice. Verify important facts with qualified professionals and with the official sources that keep the records.

3. Not a government agency or consumer reporting agency

We are not a government agency, not law enforcement and not a private investigator. We do not provide confidential government records. Neither Find People Guide nor the third-party search service linked from this Site is a consumer reporting agency as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), 15 U.S.C. 1681 and following sections.

4. FCRA permissible use restriction

You may not use this Site, the search form or any information obtained through the linked search service to make decisions about a person's eligibility for employment, tenant screening or housing, credit, insurance or any other purpose covered by the FCRA. Information from people search services is not a consumer report and has not been collected or verified for those purposes. If you need information for an eligibility decision, you must use a consumer reporting agency that complies with the FCRA, together with the notices and authorizations the law requires. Misuse may expose you to civil and criminal liability under federal and state law.

5. Prohibited uses

You agree not to use the Site or any information obtained through it to:

  • Stalk, harass, threaten, intimidate or harm any person
  • Commit identity theft, fraud or any other unlawful act
  • Locate or contact anyone in violation of a protective order or court order
  • Make any eligibility decision covered by the FCRA, as described in Section 4
  • Violate any applicable federal, state or local law

6. Affiliate relationships

Our search form links to a third-party people search service. We may receive a commission if you purchase a report or membership. Third-party sites have their own terms, pricing and privacy practices. We are not responsible for their content, availability, billing or the accuracy of their records.

7. No trademark misuse

References to industry terms or report types are descriptive only. Find People Guide is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any government agency, and does not claim to offer products it does not own.

8. Accuracy disclaimer

Public records and people search data are incomplete by nature and may be outdated or matched to the wrong person. We do not guarantee that any report or article identifies any particular person or record. Results vary. Do not rely on any single source for an important decision.

9. Geographic focus

Content and the linked service are oriented to United States users and records. Records outside the U.S. may be limited or unavailable.

10. Intellectual property

Site text, layout and branding are owned by Costa Launch LLC or licensed to us. You may not copy substantial portions for commercial reuse without permission.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Costa Launch LLC and its members, officers and agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from reliance on third-party reports, your use of information obtained through linked services or Site downtime. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid us directly for Site access in the prior 12 months (typically $0, since we do not charge for access to the Site) or (b) USD $50.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Costa Launch LLC from claims arising out of your misuse of the Site or of information obtained through it, or your violation of these Terms.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms at any time by posting a revised version on this page. Continued use means you accept the updated Terms.
