Privacy Policy | Find People Guide

1. Who we are

This website ("Find People Guide," "we," "us") is operated by Costa Launch LLC. Contact: contact@findpeopleguide.com.

2. What we collect on this site

Find People Guide is a static website. We aim to collect as little as possible:

Names and state you enter in the search form: When you submit the form, the first name, last name and state you typed are added as query parameters (aff_sub1, aff_sub2 and aff_sub3) to a third-party affiliate tracking link, so the people search service can start your search. This information is sent from your browser to the affiliate network and the search service. We do not store your searches on our servers.
Google click identifier: If you arrive from a Google ad, the click identifier in the page address (gclid) is saved in your browser's local storage for up to 90 days and passed to the affiliate tracking link as aff_click_id, so referrals can be attributed to the ad that brought you here.
Advertising measurement: Every page includes the Google tag (gtag.js) for Google Ads. Google may set cookies or use similar technologies to measure ad clicks and conversions, such as a click on our search button. See Section 7.
Server and hosting logs: Our host (for example Cloudflare Pages) may automatically log IP address, browser type, referring URL and timestamps for security and reliability.
Email you send us: If you email contact@findpeopleguide.com, we receive whatever you include in that message.

3. What we do not collect here

We do not ask for Social Security numbers, government ID numbers or payment details on this site.
We do not provide people search reports ourselves and do not keep a database of the people you search for.
We do not require an account to read our content.

4. Third-party services

When you continue to the people search service through our affiliate link, that service's own privacy policy and terms apply to any information you provide on its site, such as payment details or an email address for report delivery. We encourage you to read those policies before purchasing. The affiliate network that tracks referrals also has its own privacy practices.

5. How we use information

To operate and improve the website
To route your name search to the third-party service you chose to use
To measure the performance of our advertising
To respond to contact requests
To comply with law and protect against fraud or abuse

6. Sharing

We do not sell personal information as a product. Search details you submit through the form are sent to the affiliate network and the people search service for the purpose of performing the search you requested. We may share limited information with service providers who host or secure this site, or if required by law.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

We use the Google tag for Google Ads conversion measurement, which may set cookies on your device. You can manage ad personalization in your Google account settings and block or delete cookies in your browser. We store the Google click identifier in your browser's local storage as described above. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

8. Children's privacy

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Security

The site is served over HTTPS. No method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure.

10. Your choices and your own information

You can read our guides without submitting a search. To request deletion of information you emailed us, contact contact@findpeopleguide.com. Requests about information held by a people search service or data broker, including removal of your own listing, must be directed to that company. Our guide on protecting your information online explains common opt-out steps.

11. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. The effective date at the top will change when we do.
